The fight would have to be at 147 if it is made now.

I do not see Hatton getting destroyed like many seem to imply.

I think Hatton should be able to take Cotto's shot, not sure how long, but if he can attack Cotto's body, Cotto might wear out, not to mention the fact that Cotto's chin is not made of granite.

There are many possibilities and it just depends on who can take who's shot for how long...possible good matchup that I would like to see.

Now, if we were talking about Hatton vs. Shane Mosley (in his prime), forget it, I would pick Shane. Even now, I probably would favor Shane.

In fact, the Shane that fought Oscar the first time at 147 would whoop Cotto and Hatton.

      Hi im new, hello everybody!!!!

I think Hatton wins 8th round stoppage, working away at the body, grinding Cotto down and then boom a rib crusher,Cotto sinks to his knees and Hatton is victorious...AGAIN!!!!

Now after most people called castillo a shot fighter hatton all of a sudden better than cotto at 140 cottos been knocked down hurt or stunned in both weight classes after floyd and baldomir beat judah everybody said he wasnt a great anymore fighter but after cotto stop him in the 11 round all these people come out saying floyds ducking cotto because he,ll get knocked out make up your damn minds already. Floyd was considered either the best at 140 or second best, but then moves up two weight classes and beats the best at 154, seven pounds for hatton shouldnt be that big of a difference.

Hatton resorts to neutralizing his opponent by tying him up....bad idea against the best "short puncher" in the game!

Hatton barely got passed Collazo, we all know Cotto ****s much harder and catches you when you're breathing in....BAM!

At 140 Hatton would give Cotto fits.
At 147 Cotto will prove too much, too strong.

you should have put this at 147 where both fight could and most likely will be at... hatton and cotto to close to call but i voted cotto cause i consider cotto to have taken on the better fighters and he has weathered more storms i guess... hatton ran into a storm and look like he really loss
plus castillo "little old slow guy"
cotto has shown more to me so far but it is really a toss up
naw second opinion PBF to beat both of them get it striaght
