id like to see Malignaggi/hatton in october time both have just fought and will have plenty time to recover/ get in shape and then follow it up with a huge fight in spring with cotto at 147.

I personally would not like to see hatton face mayweather due to the fact i think it wouldnt be a good fight to watch. a fight with cotto would surely be a action packed war and a good spectical for the sport.

I have always said Hatton has the Style to beat Floyd Mayweater.. But he himself might not be the guy to deliver it.. Cotto could.. But that is another thread..

I dont think Floyd could hurt Hatton.. and I think hatton would eventually wear Floyd down..

Of course Floyd could just as easily box Circles around Hatton all night..

But I would put my money on the former happening..

I actually Think Malignaggi is a bigger Threat to Hatton than Floyd is.. Unlike PBF Paulie can Take a punch and Has no Fear ..

Malignaggi is too feather fisted hatton would walk right through him, sure he can take a punch but i think he will be put down at least three times and hatton will win on a UD

You really cant put Hatton in with any top welter he would get killed to be honest.Despite his ko of a past his prime fighter stepping up in weight he's not a big puncher. He depends on his endurance and holding-wrestling to wear guys down over rounds. When he fought Collazo he wore himself out trying to wear collazo down by wrestling with him.He uses that wrestling-holding tactic as his defense and as a large part of his offense. He does the same thing over and over he will land one or two shots just enough where you don't have time to counter then he ties you up and wrestles then lands a few shots in the clinch then circles out of range and repeats the process. Its very hard to land any thing on a guy who does this and it will frustrate you and throw off your timing. Its the same thing that Ruiz does and when he tried to stop doing it against Roy and in the first part of the Golota fight he was a c - fighter. You put him in with a very strong welter like Shane,Tony or Cotto he will just wear himself out and would get man handled and ko'd in the last 6.

I voted for Mayweather because I think both Hatton and Cotto could give him one hell of a fight.

Yea Im not sure what he's talkin about. It isnt like Floyd gets hit flush often, but when he does, he appears to take it well. Even when I've seen him stunned he always recovered quickly.
