to me that was more exciting than the fight itself. i was like hell yeah call out floyd.

if i were floyd i would fight hatton for free for saying that, i would be like get the fight done asap!

if floyd doesn't do anything, he got punked.

regardless of all previous crap between the two, this and that, after that hatton set the tone and the stage for what could be a great fight. now is floyd going to take the bait?

i think that hatton can go out and say that kind of stuff and it's ok because he gives the fans what they want to see, action. even if it looks ugly and you don't like hattons style, he goes out there to get the job done and he goes for the kill. whereas mayweather likes to carry his opponents the full distance and not go for the kill, stretching out fights getting a lopsided decision. i like most fans and most boxing enthusiasts when you see a guy like floyd winning in such a one sided manner you want and expect him to finish the fight, either by ko, tko, ref stops the fight, fighter quits or his corner throws in the towel, something, but not going for the kill or not trying to end the fight isnt fan friendly and it gets boring watching a one sided fight.(i.e. mayweather-baldomir, among some other mayweather fights)

like i said if i were floyd after hearing hatton say that, i'd get teh fight done asap, i'd even do it for free just to make sure that the fight happens.

floyd won't though, he's going to talk **** saying this and that, and then discredit hatton and bring up old news and basically hide behind that. when he should be fired up and want to put the stamp on hatton.

style wise i think hatton would be a rough and tough fight for floyd, exciting to say the least.

money and location shouldn't be an issue, getting the fight done should be, by any means necessary.................................

hahaha. If you want to take the time to go through some old threads you'll see that I stated that I wanted Hatton to win. But you believe whatever you want.

The truth is that Castillo isn't what he once was. Props to Hatton for doing exactly what he SHOULD have done (I think thats about the 5th time I've said that).
No disrespect to you ThaHorseman at all. Im not singling you out. I have only read the last few posts of this thread, and so and that is why yours stood out for me to quote them.
But lets say for arguments sake Castillo was a bit past it, there is nothing in the rule book that says Hatton should have stopped him. Noone has been able to so why should Hatton?

Don't think i'm bashing the win. I'm simply stating that Castillo isn't what he used to be. I've given Hatton his credit, but for him to say his fights are exciting is ridiculous.

I'm going to make a prediction. I predict that Mayweather will not step into the ring with either Hatton or Cotto because he is not confident of defeating either of them.

I think that any fighter can be exciting depending on who you match them with. Even somebody that is defensive and counterpunches can make for a good fight against a guy that strictly comes forward. Hatton does his share of holding but I saw punching last night and he KO's people. I thought Hatton-Tsyzu was pretty damn exciting.

I don't know about that. His style would seem to match up well against either of these guys. Neither one of them really uses a jab to come in so they can be timed and countered and then he'll use his feet to get out of range. I actually think Hatton has a better chance because his grab style will keep Mayweather close enough to be hit.

                    This fight > Mayweather's career

Great amount of punches landed and thrown. Better than jab and run.

Do you feel that the version of Castillo that was in the ring last night REMOTELY resembled Castillo from five years ago?

If your answer is "no", then your post makes no sense.

If your answer is "yes", then your knowledge of the sport is in question.
