So I think I'm a Ricky Hatton fan...

I remember seeing him fight Tszyu and I was really impressed, but then I've missed all his other fights and forgot about him, but this guy is really good...I'm very impressed by how he fought Castillo and I'd love to see him fight Cotto (my favorite fighter)...I think he'd give Cotto or even Mayweather a great fight, and could even win those fights.

He's a come forward, pressure fighter who has what seems like an unlimited amount of energy, and I'll be watching every single one of his fights if I can from now on.

Now that Cotto-Castillo won't ever happen (or shouldn't, in my opinion), I want to see Cotto-Hatton after the Margarito or Mosley or Williams fight.

he definitely took a step up last night in my opinion of him although Castillo looked very slow and off balance all night. Im still not sold on his style, which is a mawling, brawling come forward type but even tho he looks a little sloppy I think he has faster hands than I thought and good inside hooks but his outside game lacks a little and I just dont know how good of a punch he can take upstairs or downstairs. If Castillo didnt look so slow and well,,old over night I would be more than happy to throw his little British ass up on my shoulders and sing Blue Moon but he will have to fight someone a little more in their prime and dominant as was the case last night.

ROFL, yeah.....Castillo was a shot fighter but he did what a top fighter is suppose to do against lesser fighters and that is KO them. You can't ask for more than that.

However Hatton right now is at a pivotal point in his career exactly the same situation Tzu was in. The choices were stay at 140lbs and be one of the best jrWW's to have ever fought or go up to the more talented but riskier WW division and try and become a Legend.

I'm in pretty much the reverse position. I'm a big Hatton fan but I also quite like Cotto. As much as I'm a fan of Hatton, I think Cotto may well be a very tough test indeed. It's a fight I'd love to see happen though.

I get kind of annoyed by his hugging, but i like the fact he presses the majority of the time and his hands are quicker than I thought, his punches are also pretty powerful. I saw he's last two fights and wasn't that impressed, but he brings a good crowd (the atmosphere was crazy) and comes to fight, so even though he isn't one of my favorite fighters now, i've grown to like him somewhat.

ohh i have the exact same opinion.
dont like his style, but i recognize he is a top class fighter, and a tough motherf***** xD
after the urango fight i really didnt like hatton, but with yesterday fight i realized how good he is.
