Listen I have never been a HUGE Hatton fan although I genuinely like watching him compete.

However, I think I gotta give him huge props for being super classy. The respect he showed Diego and his Widow felt genuine to me and not just for show. He's always showed great class and I can really understand why guys love watching him fight.

Even when Kellerman asked those very rude questions directly to Hatton. I mean yeah say what you think after the fight but there were tons of better and less antagonistic questions he could've asked.

Ricky handled it in stride and was very classy in his response.

"I'm man enough to hold me hands up and say me last 2 performances were under par. I'd like to think I would be able to get a pat on the back for that one."

I'm still not a huge fan of the fighter but his character and class is great for boxing.

Yeah, I mean I agree with most of his commentary but there is a place for that kind of stuff and questions. Right after a win is kinda low, let the guy have his momment.

Couldn't agree more - and little bug eyed Maxie should be banned from boxing for his completely out of line disrespect shown to Hatton in the ring after he hugged the widow - but big daddy Kellerman will see to it that his surviving little junkie gets bigger and bigger jobs in the corrupt world of boxing. Would the little punk have talked that was to Richard Butler or Mike Tyson? You know he wouldn't.

like i said, it makes no sense when people slobber all over the spoiled arrogant classless brat (mayweather) and hate the classy, fun loving, brawler (hatton) who recognizes there are more people in the world than just him.

Very impressive win for Hatton; it came a lot quicker than most of us thought it would. He's beaten a couple of great fighters who have been a bit faded so maybe he can go all the way and beat a couple of guys who are in their prime.

Just the way the guy conducts himself will win him fans.
