    hattons last 5 fights

1 fight he was nearly beat, i thought he won but many didn't
another fight he put up a ****ty performance over a pretty unknown fighter
1 fight he knocked out carlos maussa with an impressive knockout

the other 2, he retired 2 boxing legends and scarred they're legacy, 1 quit on his stool, the other quit on all fours from 1 of the most brutal body shots ever, a man who has never been knocked down, went down and never got up, hattons back

HE RETIRED 2 LEGENDS, GIVE HIM HIS RESPECT

Absolutely. The difference between the Tszyu fight and the Castillo fight is that people were desperate to dismiss Castillo's chances before the fight, rather than trying to make up lost ground afterwards.

they were dismissing him because of inactivity coupled with his ****ty last performence. it was justified, castillo is past it and the fact that hatton just KO'ed him so easily proves this. 17 ****ing years in the pros, nobody is in their prime at that point.

you use the word RETIRE very easy...

i would understand if they were fighters in their prime and relatively young...but you can't really say that Tszyu or Castillo retired because of Hatton....i would attribute more to their age and many battles before..

A perfect example of me saying a figther retired another would have been Jeff Lacy....hasn't retired, but Cazaghe put the "in his prime" fighter back in his place and never ever the same again nor anywhere near his best.

True but thats not a good example because Lacy was just a overrated hype. Its not like he had any quality wins. Saying that is like saying Margarito retried Cintron. A good example I think is Trinidad retiring Vargas. He fought on but Tito finshed him in that fight

i was just using the example..not necessarily saying Lacy was a legend or anything.

another good example woudl be Chico over Freitas...
