    Hatton vs cotto 147

I was just argueing with my dad about this fight if it were to happen, he says ricky hatton would bully and eventually stop cotto with the constant body shots. I disagree i think hatton would fold when he finds out that he cant bully cotto and realises how hard cotto short punches are.
Who do you think would win if hatton were to fight cotto at welterweight?

Hatton will try and neutralize Cotto's attack with his tieing up. Bad idea against the best "short puncher" in the game.

The funny thing is that they exchanged titles. Cotto vacated the WBO Junior WW, and went up to challege for the WBA WW, that Hatton vacated. I don't think theres any ducking here, Cotto can't make 140 anymore, and Hatton is at home at 140. Doubt Team Cotto will sacrifice trying to make 140 again. Hatton will more likely target Paulie, and Cotto....Cintron or Margarito/Williams winner.

    Cotto TKO 9th!

Toss up fight. We would only really know if they fought both have strong points and both have weak points. Would be a very interesting fight to watch though.

Hatton's camp admitted a long time ago that Hatton's best chance to beat Cotto was at 140 when he was weight drained.

            I concur.........

It would be a pretty exciting fight though, Cotto would eventually take over and lay on a pretty deveastating beating down the stretch.

                Cotto for me too.

Why did Ricky step up to Welterweight where the money fights are, and then drop back down after one fight with Collazo? There are no big fights for him at Light Welterweight. If he wants to prove he's top notch he must move up IMHO.
