    Dear Ricky Hatton......

While I do respect your record and titles, I respectfully ask that you face a fighter who is in his prime.

I ask that you please not call out Floyd Mayweather, who is actually 2 weight classes ahead of you. If that is the case, why not call out Ouma or Clottey?

When Floyd was willing, you were quoted as saying that you needed 2 more fights before facing him. It doe not seem right that you call him out now after he has retired.

    Sencerely,

It doesn't matter. If Floyd sees he can make a lot of money with the fight then the fight will be made. Roger has been talking about making the fight with UK press and billing it as a Best of US vs Best of UK thing. Id like to see it happen but if it doesnt there is plenty of other fights out there. People need to get a grip and let this **** sort itself out.

Mayweather could easily drop to his best weight of 140, and Hatton can stretch to the catchweight of 147. Mayweather was only 3 lbs over 147 the NIGHT OF HIS LAST FIGHT.

Its the perfect matchup career wise for both of them, questionable undefeated resumes(Floyd fought better fighters, Hatton has less questionable wins). Stylistically, it will be interesting but Floyd will probably win. It depends on if his recent lack of nuts has more to do with the 154 weight class than a permanent change of heart.

Floyd is the current 154 champ. Why on earth would he meet Hatton at 140?

How about Hatton go where the champ is?

            Um...

#1 to make the biggest fight of the decade

#2 because Hatton they can meet in the middle at 147 where PBF is more comfortable anyway.

#3 Floyd doesnt give a **** about that title.

Ricky Hatton will not fight Floyd. He knows he can't beat floyd. He was very out of place to say what he said. I really wish they'd fight . He'd get embarrassed

See the thread on this page where I posted about Hatton pricing himself out of a fight with Floyd. Floyd wanted the fight, both had a free schedule, both in their prime and active. Hatton backed out said he wasnt ready and declined. Why call him out now that he is retired?

No Floyd, retired before. And Hatton was asked, and declined. Why do you no acknowledge that?
