Sure Castillo looked well past his best days and definetly done as an elite fighter.
But there isnt a single fighter in the 135 and 140 pound divisions that could have done that to Castillo.
I thought the first round was boring, but you had to expect that as this was going to be a very inside fight and they both needed to find there range and comfort zones.
But rounds 2-4 were the Hatton of old. Very active and exciting in those rounds.
I would rate this win VERY CLOSE his win of Kostya Tszyu because nobody has EVER come close to doing that to CASTILLO.
Overall i thought it was a very good night for Hatton and a very good fight overall.
Stop complaining about Hattons clinching, he clearly showed he can excite and clinch.
And I also think Hatton re-established himself as a premiere body puncher in the sport with that win. He was before this, but his Collazo fight and his Urango fight let that reputation fade a bit.
There is one fighter that could have done that to Castillo. His name is Father Time. he did it to RJJ too. When Hatton beats a quality fighter in his prime, I wll give him props. He did just what he should have done.Comment

Yeah Castillo didn't look so good, but I give credit to Hatton for doing what he did. His style I don't think is very pleasing to american fans, but it gets the job done. Plus that body shot was one of the best i've seen. Plus I like Hatton's crowd, they bring good excitement to the arena.Comment

so was tzyu when he fought Hatton. Thats an overrated victory, as great as it was.
and CASTILLO may have been old, but out of shape?
thats the most ripped ive ever seen him at 140. Against NGOUDJO he looked a bit flabby. He looked pleny ripped tonight.
And all the reports were that Castillo was training like never before and stuff like that.Comment
