"It's a tremendous honor to be inducted into the California Boxing Hall of Fame," said well known manager Frank Espinoza of his recent election for the year 2007. "It's amazing to be inducted along with some of boxing's greatest players like Oscar De La Hoya, Shane Mosley, Albert "Tweety" Davila and "Chicanito" Hernandez." Among the fighters being inducted will be De La Hoya, Mosley, Fernando Vargas, Davila, Art Frias, Jimmy Harryman, Genaro Hernandez, Armando Muniz and Richard Martinez. Being inducted into the non-boxer category along with Espinoza will be Richard Schaefer, Don and Lorraine Chargin, Dr. Michael De Luca, Josie Arrey-Mejia, Carlos Avilas, Hank Nagamine, David Martinez and Frank Baltazar Sr. The induction ceremonies are set to take place on Saturday, September 22nd at the Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City, California.---*********.com
