Before you spend anymore energy in trying to find out what happened to Friday Night Club Fight. I'm still wonderin' as to what happened to B-HOP vs. DLH. That smelled funny. Not neccessarily "fixed fight funny", just odd, that DLH could exert enough energy pounding the canvas and roll around on it, instead of using energy to beat the count. And what the hell was B-HOP doin' for 7 rounds ?? It seemed like B-HOP could've worked DLH from the 3rd round on

I don't know about DLH-Hopkins I think DLH did his usual fade down the stretch, he was hurt, and he knew he couldn't win so he stayed down or maybe he really was hurt.
Last night's fight ranks on par with McCall-Lewis II in terms of weirdness. Julio Garcia never looked like he exerted an effort the whole fight. When he would throw punches you could see he was holding back and basically just doing pitter patter. It was truly bizarre. I have no idea what was going through his head but previous to last night I was really high on him as a good prospect. I am very interested to hear the real story because it is not that Garcia just had a bad night (and I don't think he bet on himself Teddy Atlas said during the fight that it was such an assured outcome he didn't even think there was a line on Browning in Vegas).

There were no lines in Vegas. Garcia was too much of a favorite.

I was thinking the same thing but when he didn't start really coming on in the 9th I knew something was up. He literally just stood there and took punches. He looked like he had mono or something. I almost thought at certain points when the ref broke them and he would walk to the opposite corner that he was going to quit. Even when ESPN had the translator in the corner it didn't seem like they even knew what was going on with him.

Oh I don't think it will affect his career at all because it looked like he intentionally lost. I was just curious as to WHY? It seemed like he was 1-2 fights away from a potential title shot. Now he probably is 4-5 fights away. Plus he may lose respect or credibility with other promoters because they don't know what they are going to get (I imagine ESPN is probably pretty ticked right now).
