I agree with your initial post. Browning fought hard, and Garcia had no real gain from throwing the fight. If he was trying to throw the fight, wouldn't he make it less obvious? I think so. But what he did looked like an inner conflict with himself- for whatever reason.

I'm still not sure what to think about this fight. It’s weird because he was taunting Browning at several points in the fight but didn't show any offense. Thus, he cared enough to get Browning to hit him but didn't care enough to fight. It was just weird, and frankly disrespectful to both his opponent and the sport of boxing.

I am going to make a wild guess and say something happened in his personal life right before the fight and messed up his head. But again, just weird.

I'm waiting on a phone call from a source that will shed light on the subject. I'm going to get to the bottom of the story.

          Good point.

It would be like someone saying, "Ok, I want you to throw this fight but do everything you can to make it look as much." It just doesn’t make sense so I agree with you, something was going on in his head.

I think he did it to get out of contract with one of his promoters.

You think it's Duran? In the pre fight interview he said that it was an honor to be promoted by a legend. But if it's another promoter, it makes sense.

DRL (which used to be called Team Freedom) and Bobby Bostick are both in a bitter legal battle over Garcia. My source tells me that Bostick went over to Texas to sign him, but DRL claims that Garcia never even heard of him. It's a really ugly situation, and a 20 year old wouldn't know how to handle the situation.

Garcia did not look like @ss, he smelled like @ss. Hmm, no wonder Garcia kept fiddling w/ his trunks, It was trying to escape from him.

Huh... I didn't know all of that.
It's too bad that this performance will effect his career in a very negative way. But he probably didn't consider that- or he just didn't care.

Believe me, there is an explanation, and I'm going to find it.
