Damaged goods is right. Cotto would put Vargas in the hospital. Vargas could be on some steriod, HGH, Giambi ****tail. Who knows. It wouldn't matter. Cotto would DESTROY Vargas. What I mean is, Vargas would probably be beaten to death. Is there that big of a demand for this fight? I hope not. For Vargas and his families sake.

good fight.....wrong timing. Vargas, pre-Trinidad, would've been an exciting bout. But hearing about the Roids, and back problems, Vargas ain't the same fighter. Can still ****, just not the post-Trinidad Vargas.

Another thing, Vargas would be dried up like a prune at 147! dude walks around at 190! Somehow don't see it at 147. Cotto would go up to 154 if it were for a Championship Title. Doubt Team Cotto would chase Vargas.

yea i dont think this fight will ever happen, i dont htink wil step up a weigh class or fargas would go down to make weight. it would be a interesting fight though.

I don't know if this has been posted... Or even if its the truth. Thats just what I read on some other forum. And since I'm a Vargas fan I won't say anything. Only thing I'll say is that people think Fernando is washed up.. I dont think he is. He'll beat Mayorga.

None the less.. A Vargas/Cotto fight would probably never happen anyways cause Vargas has to make 147.

well i think it'll be a good fight for the simple reason both fighters are basically washed up and have nothing to loose, but everything to gain. and both fighters are **** talkers and like to brawl.

Vargas was asked what does he think of Miguel Cotto and he said he looked good in his fight with Zab Judah but Cotto couldn't do that to him if they fought.

i heard vargas is fightin mayorga possibly in september. that true? also vargas now would get destroyed by cotto. in his prime, i say vargas wins cuz cotto's chin is suspect
