ive seen a lot of guys get torn rotator cuff (sp?) from guys parrying and blocking punches..... fighters stepping on eachothers feet and tearing ligaments.
From my understanding Brain Hemrages are so common because of fighters cutting weight and regaining it back so fast before a fight. Between weigh in and fight is not enough time for all the fluids in the brain to circulate properly.
I could be way off but I think I remember hearing Mosley talking about it in an interview a few years back.
Some people have defects in the blood vessels of their brain called berry aneurysms which cause the walls of the artery's to become thinned and weakened.
These aneurysms may burst when put under pressure such as getting punched to the head, which then may result in a haemorrhage or stroke.
There is no way of conclusively proving it but i'm sure a high percentage of people who have died in the ring this way may have suffered from it.
