What about that would Tyson not be able to handle?
That Foreman wouldn't back down and go backwards. Instead, he would push Tyson and use his superior strength. Foreman also used uppercuts quite effectively..

Here's a fair question - have you watched all of these fighters fights?

              LOL

Yes, everyone is an expert. But that's perfectly fine with me. After all, an expert opinion is just that... An opinion.
People see things differently, so everybody can bring something to the table.
That's why I always respect other peoples opinion, as long as they can make reasonable arguments as to why they have that opinion.

I don't know how Tyson would do in his prime against Lewis.
But I do know this: Nobody would beat Tyson 10 times out of 10...

Most folks tend to become stronger and more focused as they become older.

I think Mike's trajectory was just the opposite.

He got worse over time, and through prison.

On Mike's best night I say nobody beats him. Nobody.

                The tapes tell the story.
Very very good post. There aint a better way to say it.

Theres no way Tyson would be able to get inside Lewis without eating multiple uppercuts, and Tyson just cant take that punishment. Lennox will measure him all day with his jab, and punish him with uppercuts and right hands. When Tyson gets in close Lewis would tie him up.

I think Tyson was a great fighter because he cleaned out his division, and showed some amazing skill while doing so. He didnt beat anybody even close to as good as Lewis though. I think more or less people get mesmerized by the skill he showed and forget that it was against average opposition.

Ive seen most of Tyson's title fights that aired on Classic, and enough Lewis fights. Mercer, Briggs, Morrison, Rahman x2, Holyfield, Vitali, Grant, Mavoric...

Tyson was hurt by the first big punch that Lewis landed. He even told his corner. I know this is a shadow of a shadow of a prime Tyson, but it tells you what Tyson would have to go through to get to Lewis.
