I trust that he is great. But i kinda agree. I want to watch him but tv in this country dont show his fights. Maybe becasuee they havent got a really great fight to show of his. And because of it a lot of people wont know who he is here because they dont show him.

He has proven himself, I'd agree, but I still want to see him against a few of the current Welterweights before I can definitively appoint him as the greatest of his generation. His career just feels unfinished to me. Maybe it's because he's going out after beating Oscar, who is clearly the most popular fighter with the casual boxing fan, but not necessarily the best out there.

Let me be clear, I think that PBF beats anyone out there, and no one can convince me otherwise until someone proves it. There are some tough fights out there for him, and I would pay to see any one of them. not because I love watching PBF, but because as a boxing fan I have too, right?

And you make stats up, most black people find him boring. And I'm not talking about thugs, because their the minority. The majority of black people find him boring. And I don't know where the comparison he gets from Ali is coming from, because ali atleast threw a bunch of punches. Ali is a heavyweight, and probably threw more then floyd has ever done in Floyd's professional career. How sad, that a big ass guy can out do you in punch stats.

While I do think he's definitely worth watching, you gotta remember Oscar De La Hoya and the hype surrounding that fight played a big part in those #s.

first it was kelly pavlik and now its cotto at least floyd fans stick always stick up for there fighter if miranda knocked out kelly he,d probably be on your avatar. Most hardcord boxing fans never embraced oscar so are you saying the who like oscar fake mexicans and the ones who never embraced oscar thugs. You always bring up most blacks that aren,t thugs not like floyd. Then how did there fight break ppv record. Felix trinidad had a bigger puerto rican fan base when he was fighter, and he fight with oscar couldn,t get as many ppv buys. I dont know what race you are but im have black and have white and i dont choose fights on race but you seem to. Do you a honestly think cotto oscar would be as big as floyd oscar, that would one of the most boring press tours for a mega ever, whether you want to believe it or not floyd brought alot of ppv buys of course not as much a oscar but theres a reason this was his biggest fight in terms ratings ever.

In ten years Floyd Mayweather will be on most if not ALL top ten all time pound for pound lists.

If a master boxer like Floyd Mayweather isn't worth watching...go watch another sport.
