Taylor clearly won the first 6 rounds, and if you dispute that, your biased as hell.

I used to root for Taylor still do but kind of pissed off with his recent performances, but how can anyone score this fight for Hopkins? the haters never fail to amaze me.

Hopkins looks so fragile in the two fights with Taylor.
That being said, I don't remember all those bull**** rounds that Taylor won.
What I remember is the beating Hopkins gave him in the end of the fights...
Yes, Taylor won on the scorecards, but I'll still always remember who was getting beat up.

I think I had the first fight 114-114 but I only saw it one time and I never watched it again. It didn't exactly set the world ablaze with excitement. I thought as champion Hopkins did enough to retain but similar to Taylor-Wright the champ ONLY did enough to retain (not to win). The second fight I scored closely but again for Taylor. I agree with the poster I was waiting for big things from Taylor but he just never improved after these fights. In fact I think he may have regressed because of these fights. Nonetheless I won't take away from the fact he at least was 1-0-1 against the best MW of the last decade...not too shabby.

This is the first time i've seen any of the two fights between these two and i can honestly say that it was one of the most boring fights i have seen. I think taylor clarly won the fight, those who scored that fight for hopkins are probably those who cannot accept a changing of the guard, or have difficulty in seeing.

I had the first round even, both fighters should've been deducted points in that round, i counted a total of around 5 punches.
After watching this fight it has suddenly dawned on me that hopkins-wright is going to be the most boring affair in living memory.

Yea this is how the majority has it. I have it the same way. I thought it was a pretty clear victory for Taylor after ive rewatched it a few times.

B hop seemed rattled in those fights!!! He showed alot more respect for Taylor then he did to Tarver!!! Which tells you something about who he was more threatend by Taylor!!!
