Good fight and could go either way. Hearns was a freak but I think too many fans & writers today overrate those guys in that period. There not overrated as far as being good but there overrated from the stand point that this diss this generation and think that we couldnt fight with them. Max use to talk about that all the time. We have plenty of fighters in this era that couldve done well in any era including the 80's. Floyd, Winky, Hopkins, RJ, MAB, EM, Pac, Toney, Lopez, and so on. Those guys can hang with anyone in any era.

Tommy was one of the best Offensive fighters ever but his D was non existent and his chin was weak. That would allow Winky to score alot but Winky will go into a shell once you start throwing punches and he will be following a puncher around so that could spell trouble. Ill go with Hearns but he will definatly have to work for it

I would go with hearns either ud or sd i think winkys chin would hold up. But wouln't be shocked if winky won a sd either.

Hearns was one of the best fighters ever at this weight, Wright doesn't have the firepower to hurt him.

Wright makes it the full 12 rounds, but he gets busted up and loses a wide decision.

Hearns UD/TKO/KO. He could move on his feet and Winky would have a hard time finding him.

i cannot see hearns losing a decision in his prime, if it wasn;t for is chin his first fight with leonard would have been a huge points win and i think it would end that way agaisnt wright

I think hearns is speed is underrated but and i pick hearns almost everytime but I would still give winky a good chance. Because at winky beat alot of people because of his lack of punching power id think hearns would win almost every time.

Tommy would beat him quite easly. How would winky counter punch if tommy boxed? Winky's arms wouldnt be long enough, so that would mean winky would have to attack and in doing so takes one of tommy's right hands, and **** winkys ko'd.

Hearns by wide UD or TKO. Hearns' problems always came from his chin not from his problem with boxers. He is no Trinidad. He was schooling SRL before he got KO'd so I'm confident that he would have no problem with Winky's defense. His length would give any JMW problems and I just think Winky is too passive. If he didn't push to KO Trinidad why would he push Hearns.
