a poll on Pretty Boy skill/style

here's another one i debate w/ a friend from work, & a rare topic me & my cousin agree upon.....
some people say pbf is the complete package, has it all, the real deal....etc. & that's fine, u can make an arguement....
myself & others think he's had quite a few handpicked opponents (granted every fighter does, but they don't get the prestige & respect for beating them) & i think lennox lewis said it best on the malignaggi/ndou -fight, people don't mind boxers, they don't like runners....to para phrase a bit-
i think pbf, for the most part (Since moving up from 135) fights as a runner & fights NOT TO LOSE, as opposed to Fighting To Win....good example is the delahoya fight....yeah the name of the game is to hit & not be hit, but pbf was fighting not to lose & safe, where as oscar was there fighting to win.....playing it safe, in my opinion, isn't an effort worthy enough to take anyones belt from them
the malignaggi fight was a good example of "hit & don't be hit" while fighting TO WIN.....
will admit pbf is talented but we'll never know how much until he truely fights to win & not against guys he's suppose to whip

hes not really a runner like jones who could hit hard and move his whole career or whitiker or hopkin who moved there whole career... he dont move all that well unless the guys is slow as hell like corrales or baldomir or gatti ... a guy like joel casmayor would pick mayweather apart

I would say pitty-pat runner at 154, does enough/safe fighter at 147, and excellent technical fighter at 140.

He was the total pacakge from 30-40; he's a four tool guy above 140. His power isn't there. He used to be entertaining and fun to watch along with his skills.

Floyd is the best in the sport today. Zab wasn't slow he got whooped. Sharmba wasn't slow he got whooped. Not even Oscar was slow and he was defeated.

At 135, while Floyd was still relatively inexperienced, I think Joel Casamayor would of beat Floyd too.

However, if they were to fight now, say at 140, Floyd would tax that ass.
