Hatton will be way too worn out from all the body punches to score a knock out or TKO.
Ricky Hatton will knock out Jose Luis Castillo

Are you kidding me, Hatton throw's more punches than almost all fighters, watch his fight vs Olivera, Olivera holds the record for most punches landed, Hatton completly outworked him and stopped him for the first time in his career. To say Hatton doesn't throw enough punches is daft, he relies on his work rate to grind people down. Im saying a TKO Hatton 10-11 or a Castillo decision for this fight, depending on Castillo getting a fast start for a change. No way in hell can Hatton knock Castillo out. He simply doesn't throw the amount of punches that is required to do it. Look how much Chico threw against Castillo, when have ever seen Hatton fight like that? I think Hatton will win cuz he'll outbox a faded Castillo but I doubt it'll be by knockout.Comment

I can see Vintage Hatton in this fight! If Castillo is faded more than i think he could get stoped but i think its a long hard gruelling battle over the distance with Ricky coming out on top!
I just hope he duznt win ugly with all the grappling again.Comment

hatton definitely has an advantage in this fight, he has youth on his side, hatton hasn't been in as many wars as castillo, and hatton has a lot of momentum coming into this fight.
going by their last performances, this fight is pretty even, but these two warriors know the significance of this fight and the significance of each other, this fight is a lot easier to rise to the occasion for each other. not that Urango and Ngoudjo aren't worthy opponents, but it was probably hard to focus on those fights for both guy, making their performances look shaky. it was obvious that during those fights, each guy was focusing on fighting each other(hatton and castillo). now that they got what they wanted, i think that they're going to pull out all the stops and go for it to the fullest.
if castillo can suck it up and fight like he was in his prime, hatton is going to have a hard time keeping up with castillo, ans castillo could easily win this fight, inside fighting or not.
but if hatton steps it up like he did against kostya and try and maul castillo he could win this fight, but the only thing is, that kind of style of fighting plays into castillo's strengths, castillo is an excellent inside fighter who doesn't know how to clinch and tie up. if hatton can keep his wind and not get into a hugging match and let his hands go he could beat castillo without letting castillo get anything off on the inside. it's when hatton tries to grab is when castillo is going to do his thing a get an advantage from hatton not throwing and trying to hold.
i'm leaning towards hatton in this fight, although i'd like to see castillo get the win, but i think youth and freshness is going to be huge factors in this fight which are both on hatton's side.
the good thing is the way hatton fights like castillo fights, is almost like another corrales-castillo I. i think this fight will be FOTY and nothing short of spectacular.
may the best man win..............................Comment

i dont even think its close, hatton is going to TKO a faded castillo in the middle rounds in a fight where castillo looks shot. hatton is the much fresher fighter and castillo been in too many wars.
