It was more hype than an actual fight taking place. They fought over money and the catch-weight. Toney then said **** it and moved up to fight Holyfield at heavyweight.

Personally I think James fought the better fighters, beat the better fighters, and was overall more skilled. But Hopkins was and is 100 times more focused and dedicated than Toney, and was a much smarter businessman.

Thats so disappointing that it didnt go down. He sounded really confident. I wonder myself how he would beat Toney.

Wow, that would of been a very interesting fight. I didn't know this was in the works of getting done back in 2003. I think BHOP would of decisioned Toney.
