I noticed something peculiar in watching the 4th round of the fight between Fernando Vargas and Felix Trinidad..
To begin with, this was the round in which Trinidad threw his now infamous low blow to "get back in the fight" after being dramatically knocked down by Vargas.
The location of the foul and timing are eerily similiar to the low blow thrown by Miguel Cotto in round 1 of his fight with Zab Judah.. There are multiple similarites in fact. Although Trinidad was knocked down in his case, and Miguel Cotto stunned, possibly hurt at best in his own..
Anyway, that's not what I found peculiar..
There is a figure who stands out in the crowd during the action between Vargas and Trinidad close to the ring on the main camera view. This individual is frantically waving his arms and gesturing throughout the fight - but his actions become much more animated in reaction to the low blow. You can see him with both arms imploring Vargas to take the 5 minutes. He's clearly there in support of Fernando..
He is none other than Zab Judah.
Life can be funny that way..
