I can't believe no one has mentioned PAC vs. Juan Manuel Marquez. There was nothing more thrilling than that fight in recent years outside of Castillo - Corrales . I mean you had the knockdowns, you had the comeback, you have the controversial draw, and the next day a judge, a friggin' boxing judge admitting he was wrong. You had all the drama, violence, and it was left open ended

They don't always look for the greatest fights but ones that were built up huge because of the stars. So Oscar-Floyd for sure.

True, true...Going back to PAC vs. JMM. I just want to add more to the storyline to what I had already stated, that prior to the two meeting up in the ring, PAC to most North Americans was an unknown, as if he came out of nowhere, but little did anyone know that he wasn't just gonna be some James "Buster" Douglas. And, JMM on the other hand has been overshadowed and ducked by the top three most well know 126lbers in the world in NAZ, MAB, and EM.

So here's the plot PAC beat two world-class fighters in Ledwaba and Barrera and JMM a world-class fighter in his own right, just waiting around the wings for his opportunity at the big-time and the two collide and the rest is history.'

Present day... PAC is enjoying his turbulent but succesful career. JMM on the other hand looked like he may have killed his career by turning down an initial PAC offer for a rematch, only to be ressurected w/ his fight against MAB.

A good example is Hagler - Leonard, which was not an exciting fight at all.
