Arturo "Thunder" Gatti (40-8, 31 KO's), 34, makes his return to the ring on July 14 at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Interesting. Hopefully Gatti can pull the win, but I doubt Gomez will be easy. We've seen him before and on Contender. He is a nice fighter. Will be action packed.

Isn't it alittle late in his career to be saything that the slugfests are over?

What would happen if Gomez does a PBF on him and gives him a bit of a boxing lesson. Is there any chance of that happening?

He would be in a much better position if he made this decision before the Baldomir fight.

The warrior will always be inside of him, there ain't no going back, he'll never be able to be a boxer again if he needs to brawl against a tough opponent he'll have no other option.

Yeah once he steps in that ring he might have a game plan to box, but if he hasn't done it yet at this point in his career I'll doubt he'll stick to it. Especially in Atlantic City where many of his good fights have taken place. I see Gatti trying to outbox Gomez early on, but after a while he'll go back to his old self and give the crowd a show. Once a brawler always a brawler.
