Maybe something was lost in translation but how can Castillo have "great respect" for Hatton yet at the same time call him ordinary? When did he start greatly respecting ordinariness?

Castillo says he is ordinary, but then Hatton and Castillo meet down the pub in disguise and Castillo tells Hatton is is a great fighter.

To tell the truth I really dont get whats going on with this fight. MAB walking Hatton into the ring really aint the best idea I have ever heard of. Out of interest does MAB and Castillo not get on too well???

I read his comments and to be fair it wasn't as bad as the topic title looks. It wasn't really trash talk.

"We have looked at some tapes of his fights and know he likes to come forward and that's great because that's what I like to do," said Castillo

"I think Hatton has been exposed as being a relatively ordinary fighter."

Despite looking unimpressive in his routine victory over Herman Ngoudjo on Hatton's undercard in January, Castillo insists he will be a different fighter at the Thomas & Mack Center.

Castillo is keen to rebuild his damaged reputation after he twice failed to hit the weight limit for lightweight title fights against Diego Corrales.

"I have been in a lot of wars and I need the best opponents to bring out the best in me," he said.

"I have a feeling this fight is like a new beginning. The motivation of facing Hatton has brought out the best of me.

"I have trained harder for this fight than when I was preparing to fight Diego Corrales for the second time to get my revenge. It will be a war when I fight Hatton."
Pretty standard stuff really. The guy I'm fighting isn't a monster, and I've trained harder than ever. It's going to be a war.

            Nothing unusual about that.

It seems MAB will be carrying Ricky's belt on staurday:

Two of my favorite fighters on the same side, a pity only one of them will be fighting.

I thought Hatton had Manchester United and England football striker Wayne Rooney carrying the belt out........

                anyone?

As far as I am aware they will both be walking to the ring with him.

Who will Castillo have holding his gear? Junior Witter holding Castillo's spit bucket and gum shield to the ring i bet.
And Castillo shouldnt say Hatton is ordinary because how is that going to make Castillo look like when the ref counts him out to 10 and he dont get up.?

The closer this fight gets, the more and more I think Castillo will win. Castillo has always struck me as the meaner fighter.
