    Malignaggi wants Hatton next

popular Brooklyn stylist Paulie Malignaggi - the newest world-title claimant at 140lbs after his points win over Lovemore N'Dou at the weekend - has already marked down the Manchester 'Hitman' as the man to beat.

Malignaggi, who scored a virtual shut-out win over the tough South African at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut, said: "I want Ricky Hatton next. After Hatton is finished with Castillo, I want to fight him."

Fighting an emerging talent with no significant punch would doubtless appeal to Hatton. But first he must see off a fighter who, despite engaging in some of the most memorable fights of recent times, still has something left to prove

i think it would be a great choice for paulie cuz i most def think he has the skills and is a good enough boxer to deal with hatton's or castillo's pressure,
he should take winner of that fight and then maybe square off a rematch with cotto, well maybe he has to move up for that one

Not really at all. In his post fight interviews he's always humble as hell and gives his props to opponents. He's like everyone else in that he talks a little bit of **** to hype up the fights.

He sure does talk alot. I think he'll stsy at 140 as if he moves up and fights any top welterweight he'll be hurt.

i think this fight would depend alot on the ref.

if he got the guy who wouldnt let ndou touch him on the inside he'd have a great chance

if he got the guy who let the entire kt/hatton fight be fought basically in the clinch he'd be ****ed

if he got a mid ground ref hatton would be too much for feather fists malignaggi

He doesn't have enough to keep Hatton off him. I would expect it to pan out like the Cotto fight.

As for clinching, if I was N'Dou I would have complained about excessive clinching by Malignaggi. Every time it got close Paulie would clinch and the ref would separate them both.

Even though I feel hatton would beat him I give Paulie respect for wanting to fight him.

                    Malignaggi would school that bum.
he may be lighthanded but he would probably stop hatton if he thew 1 or 2 body punches
