i spent a good time watching a couple williams fights and he is very skilled

i like the angles he throws his punches at BUT

theres no way the dude can knockout margarito
it is possible he can win by decision

but not enough power to even come close to knocking out margarito

that being said williams has a good chin too and he proved it vs matthyse
but matthyse doesnt throw nearly the volume of punches margarito does

i definetely can see williams coming out and taking rounds 1 and 2 but margarito is a slow starter and i think williams will be hurt the first time in his career in this fight.

P. Williams was barely able to put Pakau down in his last fight, and Pakau was a fill-in.

He was goin easy on him cuz he needed rounds. If you seen a few Williams fights you'de know that.

I'm picking Williams to win here. I think it'll be a good fight either way but I have a feeling that Williams will overwhelm Margarito in the second half of the fight. I also want to see a Margarito/Cotto match come off, but I gotta go with the Punisher by decision.

I think...Margarito will hurt this dude. Williams is good but he is just not the style of fighter to beat Margarito. His defense is way too suspect, and his body is strongly inviting as a target for Margarito.

Ill beat any one 10,000 points that williams beats margarito either by late round tko or UD, because tony has a good chin Ill say williams by Ud his speed is underated and so is his power. In the pakau he wasnt even throwing punches with pop any more, he even felt sorry for pakau. And he throws over a 100 punches a round and is very accurate, the only thing I worry about is tonys power because williams likes to brawl to much and doesnt use his height very well. If tony wins it will by knockout hes not going to out box williams for a desicon williams throws alot more punches and is way more accurate then margarito.

I said Williams' defense is lacking. I never said Margarito's was great or even good. Margarito has more to compensate for his lack of defense however.

margaritos defense has nothing to do with anything in this fights

he could fight the whole fight with his hands by his side and williams wouldnt be able to hurt him

hes just not strong enough

both of these guys have amazing stamina so it should be fun to watch
both fighters like to wear their opponents down and finish in the later rounds

the thing about this fight is margarito has potential to actually hurt williams

and williams body is always open which plays right into margaritos hands because margarito loves to pound the body

note that when williams fought matthyse it was a hard hook to the body that actually stunned williams for a second

also every single time williams jabs he brings his right hand down which i am almost positive will be countered by huge uppercuts by margarito

i think this fight will either end by margarito tko/ko or williams decision

As much as its going to hurt me to have to listen to Margarito fans until he fights Cotto, I have to agree with this. I like Williams, but I'm not sure he has enough to last 12 against Margarito. I'd like him to win, but at the same time I want Margarito to win so Cotto can bust his ass up.
