Antonio Margarito vs Paul Williams - Official Poll

I like Margarito. He is more experienced and I think he has a better chin. When two guys are both come forward easy targets I'll take the guy with the better chin. I might favor Williams but as already pointed out he doesn't use his height effectively so he might as well be Margarito's height. It will be an entertaining fight but I think the 2nd half of the fight is Margaritos and he wears him down or wins a UD.

Williams by brutal UD......I mean margy gets punished with that jab or maybe even stoppage if Williams chooses to really go after his ass when he wears him down by the mid rounds.

Williams averages over 100 punches thrown per round, and his accuracy is quite good.

Margarito is seriously overrated.

He is an exciting fighter, YES. But nothing special, I have stated reasons why Williams will win this fight, yet Margarito fans aren't giving me their reasoning to why they think Margarito will win it, the are just showing that they are fans...

1. Williams is a Southpaw
2. Awkward Fighter
3. Reach and Heigh Advantage
4. BIG fighter, Hell I think he can hang with the big boys at Middleweight, let alone welterweight
5. He is the biggest fighter in Size Margarito has faced and he is a boxer puncher with skills, I see him using his height advantage
6. Come 14th july, the punisher will prove something, I wont base it on how he was kicking margarito's ass in sparring, but 14th july he will come to prove something.

Williams has never faught a big quality guy, (only aging feather fisted midgets like Mitchell or D-plus C-minus level fighters like Pakau, hes never even fought one decent fighter for 1 round, he needs to show what he can do in a12 round bout vs a upper level fighter before you get too excited and bust a nut

I dont know about that, Matthyse is more than a decent fighter and when he beats Cintron ill prove my point.

That guy has 25 Knockouts in 26 fights and he could'nt even hurt Williams, that fight was 10 rounds of excitement, this guy is so consistent thats why I like him, watch some of his fights, ill post some soon.

I just think Williams is in the wrong division like Thomas Hearns, too strong for others. Too big, I think he even said he will move to middleweight soon.
