i think alot is expected of taylor and his talents, the fact he doesnt utilize his talents what so ever makes people more frustrated than anything.

i mean, either taylor is just flat out dumb, or it could be that he's lazy mentally, but he just doesnt know when to throw or get into any sense of flow with his punches. he does a horrible job of settin up his right hand, meanwhile...he's got a ****in HARPOON for a jab. i mean, thats a middleweight's dream! a ****in legit jab, AND a ****in right hand!....WHAT THE **** IS TAYLOR ON!?

steward tries to speak it into taylor, but he just doesnt get it.

i just think taylor's one of those fighters that wont know it until he feel's it or see's it for himself.

you can teach him, talk to him all day. but until he see's it for himself, he just wont understand what your saying. he's just gotta feel it first.

the only way he's gonna be able to feel it, is if he experiments (sp), and tries to find it, and i think he tried that in the first hopkins fight. but hopkins rocked him late, so now maybe he's a little scared. i dont know, the dude has everything you need. a great reach, a killer jab and right hand.

I actually have a lot of respect for jermain Taylor. The only thing that frustrates me about the guy is that he doesn't listen to Manny. I mean he got ragged on alot for his last two fights. I mean he couldn't help it that Ouma was real tough or that Spinks was running the whole time. Everybody says that he should have beaten those guys easily cause of his fights with Hopkins and Wright. What people don't understand is that all these fighters syles were different. I see a bright future for Jermain Taylor and I believe he has the potential to become an all time great

i agree with mayan sun. I know jermain taylor has the ability to become great, i dont think anyone can doubt the fact jermain has the skills, but the mother****er just fights some ****ty ass opponents and has ****ty ass performances to boot. He didnt even win against B-hop in my eyes so i dont even see him as a legit champ. His performance against cory spinks was awfull and a real let down. Lets just hope Pavlik knocks the **** out of taylor and rightfully wear the belts around his waist.

We expect more out of Talyor as he is the better fighter.

Pauly fights good guys and isnt afraid to over match himself...hence more respect. He beat Lovemore more convincingly that Taylor beat Ouma or Spinks.

            End of thread...

Paulie fights anyone pretty much. He gets respect because he not only pushes the action, but he is a tactical fighter and as stated before, he isn't afraid of anyone. I'm not saying Taylor is, but his last fight against Spinks was terrible for him. I had Spinks winning 8-4, and a few other analysists had Spinks 7-5 so all this bull**** Taylor is trying to bull is lame. Saying Spinks ran? ***** please show me where, cuz I remember you barely doing anything except run.

Kelly Pavlik is gonna tear that ass up.
