Nah, it was only because of the 2 low blows on Hatton that Tszyu was able to last until the 11th. It would have been over much quicker otherwise.

Hatton did dominate in the sense that he outworked and outbullied the champion. He didn't dominate in terms of scoring, and to be honest I have no idea why anyone would think it was a good thing if he did. Used to be that a close fight for a championship was the right and proper thing, now it's just another club to beat the winner over the head with.

Hatton won the fight because he was supposed to win....

Let's see...Hatton was fighting an aged champion, who had not fought in sometime, who was coming off an injury...who had one foot out the door in terms of his career. In other words he was looking for one last big payday...meaning he 'sold' his championship.
Hatton was fighting on 'home turf'...with his crowd, his referee...

And that 'win' is what Hatton has hung his hat on since....wow.

No they dont. They say that he won a close and brutal fight against a great champion...and he did.

Doubt it. Both fighters were dirty.

Bull****. Kostya landed his fair share of fouls too. Kostya was a great champion and despite a close-scorecard, Hatton should be given credit for making a great champion retire on his seat with one round to go. Kostya lost because Hatton got his tactics right and out-fought him.

Oh how I love speculation. I could speculate that Kostya's previous fight was to knock cold a Zab Judah who a number of years later, and long past his prime, took a late KO against Miguel Cotto. So by my triangular logic and speculative reckoning, Kostya knocked Zab out in 2 was it? Hatton stopped Kostya in 11. Cotto knocked Zab out in 11? So really, Hatton should knock Cotto out in somewhere around -3 rounds.

Only...thats ******ity, isnt it? So is you speculating about the physical state of a P4P champion when he has always maintained that he was fine.

And thats not even mentioning that Mayweather failed to knock him out and instead went the distance with him. HATTON BY MURDER TKO Ownednjjsgjk;lghjkxngl.

Nah, that made the 1st Judah "low blow" look like a rabbit punch. Right on the spuds.

Nah, saw it on frank warrens best of boxing, was a clear body shot i reckon, even the commentators said it was, and said hatton was lucky to get away with it.

Quite hard to tell in real time because he jumped at the same time. I've seen a freeze frame of it and there's a clear gap between the top of tszyu's glove and the bottom of the belt line and you could tell by his immediate reaction that it was low.

I had Hatton up by a wide enough margin that Tszyu needed a knockout.

There was nothing Tszyu could of done to win. Hatton was too much for him down the stretch. He had Tszyu wobbling in the last few rounds and I believe he would of stopped Tszyu in the 12th anyway.
