Roy Jones has the better legacy, without a doubt.
Wlad is seven years younger, and his legacy looks better today than two years ago, and who knows what he'll accomplish in the next few years! Too bad he hasn't fought three times a year instead of twice in 2005, 2006, and 2007 - he could have added three more names to his resume in that time.
Wlad can add more achievements (such as unifying the titles at heavyweight) to his resume in the next few years, but he doesn't have enough time at age 32 to catch up to Jones. And of course, Roy was never stopped in his prime, and was at that time a more complete fighter than Wladimir.
That being said, many people unfairly discredit what Wlad has achieved and overemphasize his losses.Last edited by The Hammer; 05-01-2008, 10:12 PM.Comment
