paulie fought cotto kinda early in his career, but you gota take big opportunities like that.. It was a performance where he gained from eventhough he lost. He continues to imprive, mcgirt is making him even better.. were talkin about a guy who started boxing when he was 17... Good for Paulie..

or when a guy (cotto) has already beaten a guy (N'dou) who then fights another guy (Mag) that the 1st guy (cotto) also beat but not in the same fashion that the 1st guy did but worst... Lol.. I think the point his making is alot of people thought Mag hung with Cotto like a true champ and that Mag also beat a guy that Cotto beat but worst.. I think if Mag was to put on a little weight or punching power he could defintly take Cotto!

yes, because i hear putting on punching power is pretty easy these days.

paul is fine where he's at. he has no business in the ring with cotto at 147. maybe a couple of years down the road, but paul's future at 140 is very bright. a bout with hatton is the one to be made.

Abraham VS Miranda, even if its crooked.

A Cotto VS Malignaggi rematch would be good, but I doubt it'd happen. The first fight was close. 115-113.

Putting on "punching power" while it sounds hard it is easier then you think: the more weight or muscle you can get on your arms increases the weight behind the push of the arm which in return makes you punch harder , also if you work on speed via things like the speedbag or even jumpropeing or simply shadowboxing this with strength training will add to your power factor....

Paulie is a viable opponent i think for anyone 140-147 his boxing skills are at a level that most of his oppostion can't match however if he was to really focus on power behind his punchs or gaining more strength in his arm he could give guys like Cotto more touble then say the Paulie of right now

You do have to factor in that NDou fought Cotto in 2004, but still...Malignaggi definitely beat NDou more convincingly than Cotto, Sharmba Mitchell, or Junior Witter. I thought NDou beat Mitchell, the Cotto fight was a good scrap, but Cotto was young as hell and hadn't even won a title yet, and Witter dropped NDou twice, but the fight was real close at the end from what I remember.

The difference is Malignaggi's speed. NDou just couldn't handle it.
