ZAB had his 3 chances its time to hang-um-up

Zab Judah once one of the elite fighter of the WW division has looked more like a journeyman his last 4 outings and the time maybe now for him to hang it up and call it quits. Judahs trouble began back in January of last year when he was outboxed out punched and outslugged by a very respectful journeyman himself in Carlos Baldomir who was a 10-1 underdog, this was a fight many thought would only be the stepping stone to his historical bout with Floyd Mayweather, however barring the impossible which occurred many didnt know what to think and what would be the future of the once furocious star after a loss!

But even with the lost Zab prospered and was still deemed worthy for a showdown with Floyd, a fight that i dont think should of happened because Zab no longer deserved it, however he was granted the fight and excluding the first 4-5 rounds was thoroughly outboxed the whole night! And as a result of the events that took place the night of the fight, Zab was also suspended a year! Again questions arouse what is Zab going to do now, whos next and can he win? This was the question, the answer however surprising it was, was that Zab would have to comeback after the 1yr layoff fight some bum and then Miguel Cotto an-up-n-coming champion who unlike Baldi or Floyd was known more for his power then anything else!

So again Zab Judah was thrown a bone coming off two straight losses an embarrassing suspension and numerous reports that the former champ may have lost a step or even his-head. This didnt faze Judah however, who i think was one lucky son-of-a-gun to even be given the opportunity to capture gold only 2 months after his 1yr suspension was over. Judahs 1st fight back from the suspension matched him up with another journeymen who like Baldi sorta spoiled the plans of Judah by getting cut in the 1st round of the fight causing it to be a No Contest!

So we all know what happened last weekend but we have to ask are selfs is Zab Judah still an elite fighter? I dont think so... so what can or who can possibly be next for the guy? Another championship fight? I hope not... Look at the champs out there 140 to 147... Hatton, Ndou, Margarito soon to be Paul Williams, Cintron and of course Shane Mosely... Of the 5 i only see one id give Judah the nod over (Ndou) but still with his ever increasing non-punching, fadeing after 4 rds and 4 straight dissappointments i believe theres only one options for the guy and thats retire i rather see him retire now as a former champ then a champ turned journeyman! Because if he stays on this path he'll be fighting nothing but bums some how impress an executive while doing it get that title fight against say a Paul Mag and be upset AGAIN!

Hes only 30, he still has the skills, and he can still make good money. Hanging them up would be foolish.

Zab has been competitive in every fight he has lost. Even the PBF and Cotto fights.

Sad to say but i think that's about true. The problem is Zab's mentality (he's a big child really) combined with the people surrounding him that must be telling him he's the biggest star. Sad he believes that but hasn't worked in his problems. I keep saying, put some humility, greater stamina and a better defense (he gets hit somewhat easly) and you'd have a great fighter, mayweather great i say! It's a shame and it must embarass the whole of Brooklyn having a guy acting so "brooklyn" (hip-hop thing going on, grill for teeth, rap music) and then ****, knock out and sleep like a princess. Then the next fight he is like: "Zab is a brand, Zab is one of the greatest fighters today..." (notice the third person) and the cycle repeats. He's a laughing stock right now based on his record, but no shame in his last fight. He was hit in the nuts the 2 times he could've cause cotto damage (therefore i will hate cotto forever after), cotto is a vicious fighter (terrible chin though) and he showed heart. Zab does have heart afteral. That didn't help him though. Going into a ring with a young Cotto having 2 minutes in a ring in the last ring IS NOT SMART! Team Judah says: "Zab personally wanted this fight". WTF, if he can't think let him destroy his career outside of the ring (points to Tyson's management) and keep him OFF the decision-making.
Yeah, he's a can now, completely. Even if he changes teams he will still be a can because he's 29 and he can't physically improve much. He can get a better defense though. Zab Judah, STOP TRYING TO BE ROY JONES. You do that terribly wrong, KEEP YOU *****NG HANDS UPPPPP!!! AND THROW MORE. Jesus he makes me mad. Better go down while throwing than in fetal position trying to cover up while not attacking!

Zab is only 29, and lost to the three top welterweights in the world, and gave all three of them very good fights (even baldomir, who he didnt train properly for).
Just because a fighter loses, doesnt mean he should retire, he needs to make money, just like everyone else and boxing is his profession. So give him a freaking break and stop being one of these ppl who says boxers need to 'hang them up' if they lose. Also considering the fact that Judah's behavior in the Cotto fight won over alot of fans and many ppl have more respect for him now...this is the dumbest time he would retire.

If he can, he should move back down to 140.
