why even make this thread. it's the same people who think hatton can beat floyd. to these people, everybody beats floyd. hell, don king beats floyd. seeing how floyd has never been knocked out, how can you people predict a knockout on him? you cannot. having power over floyd doesn't get the job done people. we don't know how he would have faired against any hearns, hagler, leonard, pryor, robinson, or any other fighter. you peole jumped on this thread like flies on cupcakes just to add more biased and hateful remarks about floyd. you put him in fights with full blown welerweights and leave out the fact that floyd has always said, weight don't win fights. floyd has better defense than a hagler, hearns, leonard, duran, or pryor. he counterpunched better than them all also. skillwise, he is better than all of them, even leonard who had tremendous skill obviously. duran, imo would have lost to floyd because when duran got hit, defense began to lack. hearns hit hard as hell obviosuly, but could he catch floyd like that. and stamina woudln't be a problem for floyd either obviousy. like dlt said, he could hang with all of them. he would be apart of the elite.
If Floyd fought 20 years ago...

I predict that he is at least a 1 loss fighter(de la hoya)...they didnt reward passiveness and gave the champ the benefit of the doubt in those days.
Skill wise he is as good as anyone in the history of boxing, but he is not a fighter at heart.Comment

I don't think Floyd would have gone above 135 back then. He'd be in no hurry to go to 140 with Pryor and Arguello there waiting and you wouldn't have seen him for dust if you'd mentioned the WW division at that time - SRL, Hearns, Benitez, Duran.Comment
