good thing Floyd's retired, so we don't get to see fights that can't live up to its hype (The world awaits? Please)

he is the best at 147 today imo, but possibly not
pbf on top 2007 no running neccesary
all votes are in the p4p champ of the year pbf
Ok thanks for playing captain obvious.

Floyd is hands down the best fighter at 147 as well as in BOXING. Maybe I'd be one of the few that would contest and state that Wink is better but he's by no means far ahead because that's just favoritism if I stated that.

And you claiming he's exciting is your opinion. I think he is also to some degree when he fights coming forward.....but you keep stating that like it's fact when there's plenty of other guys who people would pay money to watch at 147.

Namely Miguel Cotto who's fights are a bit more cardiac in nature. he gets hurt, then comes back and finishes people. Floyd just walks over guys because he's a better fighter than literally everyone you could possibly pit him up against.

I repeat. Corley was absorbing a tremendous amount of punishment.....and took a knee five times. The ref obviously thought he was looking for a way out of the fight. After all, don't you think if you're reffing a fight and someone takes a knee five times they're obviously hurt?

Corley shook his head clearly in a "No" fashion at the same time the ref looked at him. That was also a tell tale indicator he wanted out.

Comparing Bruseles to Cintron is ****ing ******ed.

Cintron was one of the most highly touted up and coming prospects in the sport. Bruseles was a little known central american.

Huh? That's what I'm referring to. You have head trauma or what?

Once again where was I dis*****g his stoppages? LOL.

Yeah that's the ******est triangle logic I've ever read in my entire life.
genuis, comparing common opponents not really

corley fell down numerous time against pbf as well but it wasn't stopped early for pbf!!! pretty even comparison

kermit still beat no one and was in a foty canidate with journey man teddy reid, and i didn't compare them. Pbf best win is not in anyway Heny B. so if say i compared them ur mistaken. they just beat no one of note

ur the one that implied that i was referring only to Gatti's fight as excitement and knockout's are more exciting than ref stoppages so that is how brussles made it to the coversation.

you have made no mention of excitement. You have only took the arguement about who he fought... get it straight

So you agree that Mayweather is not an alltime great? If so ,then you know boxing. You do know that Mayweather became #1 lb 4 lb because fighters like jones, Hopkins,Barrera, morales and de la hoya lost. So, by matter of elimination he became #1 not because of the fighters that he has beaten but because the other fighters ahead of him lost. The fighters ahead of him lost beacuse they took on risks and quality fighters.

              Agreed.

Floyd WAS exciting (or at the very least entertaining) when he was fighting people that didn't outweigh by 20 pounds in the ring.

I wish he would go back down to 140 (which I think he could still make), so he could turn back into the boxer-puncher he was back during his earlier years.

              Wishful thinking though.

no he could still be an all time great if he doesn't retire and take on mosley, marg vs williams/cotto, clottey , maybe winky. maybe no 1
... i'm saying he hasn't gotten the quality k.o.s that go hand and hand with excitement because of fighters corners/ref not wanting to see damage pile up anymore

caption who??? clearly a response to

"Please, don't insult the greatsof this sport with talk about Mayweather being in the top 20,10,or3. That right their is blasphemy."

pbf is best current fighter under winky/hop so Mayweather comes in somewhere between 1-3

You are reasonable because he is top 3 today , but not all time.
