    Would Cotto Fight PBF?

I keep hearing all this stuff about Mayweather being a punk for not fighting Cotto but Cotto or Top Rank never even says much about Floyd. I bet anything in this world that if Floyd wanted a fight right now that Cotto wouldnt take it and they would try so hard to make that Margarito fight 1st. Its easy to call Floyd names when you know he's retired but do you hear Cotto and them knocking on Floyd's door? They dont want that fight now so all of you need to be quiet. All they do is say general **** like "Cotto has always wanted a Floyd fight". Anyone can say that. He's the #1 guy in the game, ofcourse thats your goal but that doesnt mean you want it now. They never have wanted it and they still dont. All they keep doing is talking about a fight with Margarito who they think is made for Cotto. I bet if Margarito loses then they will try to fight Hatton or Cintron.

Its probally the same with Hatton. He's just talking **** because Floyd is done. Hatton may want a fight now only because he sees himself to be done and he just wants one last big fight but thats it. If he thinks he has 3 more fights in him then no way he would fight Floyd next. He damn sure dont want to just flat out fight him right now. All this **** these fighters and fans are doing is just talk. Even back when the Castillo fight was 1st made, Hatton was still talking about having 1 or 2 more fights after this one before he fights Floyd. He even said that it was in his contract. Now Floyd says he's retired so all these guys can throw darts. They wouldnt take that fight at all.

You guys may drink the kool aid but top rank hasnt. There not done milking Cotto yet. They know how good Floyd is and there is no way in hell that they would take that risk right now. They can talk a little because they know Floyd is really done but if he was calling out Cotto right now then Arum would just try to make excuses and say "if he wants a Cotto fight then he will have to go through Margarito 1st. No one wants to see boring Floyd. He hasnt earned the right to call shots, blah blah blah".

If you guys think Cotto's team wants a Floyd fight right this minute then you are crazy. Thats why it makes no sense for people to keep saying that about Floyd. The whole time Cotto's team would never bring up Floyd's name. Now he beats Zab and people make it like Floyd's running? This is so out of the blue. Floyd just beat Oscar at 154 while being outweighed by 20 pounds, most people would still favor Oscar over Cotto, but yet you guys think that Top Rank would jump on that fight. You guys are crazy. No way they would fight Floyd right now.

Mosley is legit and thats it. He wants the fight because he's older and is proven but he had his chance. I still think they may end up fighting in November after Floyd starts getting that itch again

Bob arum can't think of a number high enough that would get floyd to fight cotto. Now that PBF's made over 20 mil on a single fight, I doubt he will ever fight anyone for less. Hence, his retirement.

IDK why people are saying cotto yet anyway. he only JUST beat judah. Let him beat margarito, THEN let's start talking about him VS PBF. After all, at that point Cotto would be the undisputed king of 147, assuming PBF and mosely are retired.

And for the record, PBF should've fought hatton, just to clear out the 140 division properly.

I think that Cotto is still a few fights away from having his game down to be competitive. So I would think that Cotto's camp isn't in a hurry. Plus Cotto needs a few more big victories to command enough bank to make the fight attractive and the risk worth it to Floyd.

I dont see why he wouldnt. Arum would avoid it though, and he does everything through him. It doesnt matter though. Margarito is a tough enough opponent and he is the longest reigning titlist in the division.

im seriously gonna be pissed if this fight never happens..

floyd only defeated one modern talented fighter in his time, zab judah. but zab has proven to be a little less than what most thought he would be.

floyd hardly break through oscar's defense, was lame against baldomir, and this is our era's pound for pound?

**** all you nut hugging boxing announcers, critics, and fans that let this guy get away with that lol. i know im not the only one, but has floyd had the easiest/lamest career in the sport?

he's worse than roy jones before he got KO'ed. roy, has a better career than floyd before his first loss to tarver.

why hasnt anyone criticized floyd's career as much as anyone else's? yeah that zab fight was nice to see, nice to see floyd get past an agressive and effective zab judah. but thats it!? with all the modern talent inthe sport right now? thats it!?

lol the dude has only took 2 challenging fights in his career! inbetween that he's been on easy street.

the **** are you people smoking!?
