Its an Ok fight. Gatti is washed up but JCC gets hit enough for Gatti to have a good crack at him

He should have retired years ago. He will struggle later on in life.
He pushes his luck further and further for every fight... How far can that luck of his stretch?

JCC Jr. does leave himself open to shots, even Wiley was hitting him with some shots. It should be a decent fight, but we have to wait and see what's going to happen when Gatti faces Gomez. Gomez could give a tough fight and if that's the case I would like to see Gatti hang up the gloves and call it a career. He's given us so many good fights and I would rather see him healthy then to be a mess when he gets older. The sad thing is he may be that way anyways so why risk it.

They have been feeding Jr. tomato cans from the get-go. I think his old man can't stand to see him lose. Why change now? He might actually prove something if he fought a legitimate contender....

              Good while it lasts....

I want to favor Gatti but he has lost his edge these past few years..

The tall, refreshed, lanky, long arm Chavez will pummel Gatti forcing the ref to stop the fight or to take one hell of a beating and come out with mental problems...Thats not being harsh but Chavez I believe is skilled enough that he would use his range to blow Gatti out of the water...I dont want to say it because I dont think much of jr. but the criticism is largely coming from how much Gatti has deterioted and not how good Chavez jr really is.

                JCC jr is at 154

Gatti was at his best at 140.

No. Those two fighting is not a good idea. It is not a good idea AT ALL.

This fight shouldn't happen. Just like the Chavez vs Tszyu fight could never of happened.
