Would Cotto Quit when he takes a huge beating?

Say he takes a huge beaten if he ever fights Floyd, which would happen. Would he quit like a dog, or take his lumps like Malignaggi and fight on.

This question is to all the Cotto fans not thinking Malignaggi showed heart in taking his beating.

I think he would battle on as he's that type of fighter, and in his mind he's always got the punches chance as he's a big hitter.

I can see that since he still has a chance with his power. He has showed no indications of quitting thus far and look for a way out.

That is what I would envision, No Gatti winks and nods to the trainer against a Mayweather for him I don't see.

i honestly think bob and top rank will keep cotto at bay for the next 2-3 fights just to progress a fan base even further fincancialy for the name and image of cotto ,a pbf fight would be devistating in my opinion and ruin the pr sensation as a whole ,promoting a underfeated fighter who seems dangerous by putting him up against c and b class fighters is much more beneficial then putting cotto against the likes of a shane mosley or mayweather ,bob arum is a smart man.

He wouldn't be beaten senselessly by Mayweather. No, he wouldn't quit.
              Too much honor.

So pretty much what they have been doing since the Torres fight I guess. Fight 4 or so weak punchers then a ex champ on a losing streak before being outclassed by Mayweather would be going backwards at this point. They should try and make a Mosley fight they can win goad Hatton into a match imo. Mayweather is just a little much at this point.

i would love to see top rank and golden boy rejoice and put the bs to the side but i dont think it would happen, cotto and shane is deff on my demand matches, theres a few options but to me bob is insecure of the reputation, mayweather been ranking off mediocre fighters for a while then sprouting in with the likes of former champs or mandatory fighters but at the same time getting in 2 or 3 pay days prior to a big fight against some one he classicaly outboxes. If mayweather took a cotto fight right now it would be a poor move career wise and financialy in my opinion he could take a ladder match then a margarito fight and then a afterdark card then a big prize fight with the likes of a mosley or mayweather,if hes what hes being made out to be he would walk threw the 3 build up fights ,build himself up more ,stabalize his image and bank and cash out on a huge fight
