Gotta love Edner Cherry, who pulled out the UD a couple minutes ago

But i was also impressed with Mayweather fighter, Furgeson.

For such a young guy, he showed a LOT of grit and determination and heart. He walked through some BOMBS from cherry and kept throwing.

Cherry was just to accurate and active on the inside. Furgeson fought Cherrys fight and lost because of it. It was a valuable learning experience though.

yea he was ONLY throwing power shots in the last few rounds.

Thats a real sign of hunger. He wanted that win badly and was clearly willing to do whatever it took to win

I know that fight was pretty good. Cherry was throwing those BOMBS the whole fight to the body and head. Then Ferguson did play into his game and stood on the inside with him. I was pleasantly surprised with the excitement in the fight. Yeah Villan he was trying to throw that one hitta quita late in the fight knowing he needed a KO in Cherry's backyard.

Cherry did well being physical and making it his kind of fight. I thought Furgeson showed a lot of heart and performed strongly despite the nerves. It's gotta make you nervous when you got the best fighter in the world promoting you.

But he did fine. He should have stayed on the outside and threw to the body. His jab wasn't really landing. And instead of stepping into Cherry with his punches he fell into them causing a lot of tie-ups. I liked how he knew he was down and he started throwing a lot more punches the last four rounds.

hahaha, on FURGESON's record it looks to be he is feather-fisted. How the hell did he think he could land something lucky on Cherry? Even if he did, Cherry would have eaten it.

it was a good fight but furgeson looked outclassed. showed a lot of grit but it seemed like he fit right into cherry's style.

man.....cherrys face, i like that guy. thank god for fergusons quickness that made most of those downward cherry bombs wiz by by half inch. you got to hand it to mayweathers fighter for hanging the whole distance with that madman.
wow cherry wanted to showcase so bad that he was boxing anxiously. throwing those j.taylor like punches.
fergusons 21 and looks to have a good chance at being a contender.feel he will get more power down the road.he showed good speed and footwork against that maniac.

Just curious, but why do you all like Cherry? I got tired of him pretty quick because I've only seen him lose, yet he's always being talked about. He wins on Friday Night Fights only to lose on the big stages all the time. And he's not even competitive against bigger name opponents. Yeah, he knocked Santa Cruz down, but he showed no tenacity in that fight in trying to score a KO to save the fight. I just don't see what's likeable about him.
