    Best Rivalry of All-Time

I had a discussion with my friend over what was the best rivalry off all-time. To me it is Ali-Frazier. But you could make an argument for anybody. Not that they hated each other but since they fought 3 times one of the best rivalries recently was Ward-Gatti. I was wondering what you felt were some of boxings best rivalries.

        6 fights...come on...lol.

The story about the 'blood drinking presser' alone is enough for the W.

I was watching Bowe/Holyfield 3 earlier on Classic Boxing and that trilogy was pretty good. Probably not best of all time, but a good trilogy at that.

Lewis and Britton fought like 18 times and traded the welter strap twice...great stuff.

If your criteria is two guys who despised each other it has to be Willie Pep and Sandy Sadler. Watch those fights and see how dirty they were. They even pushed down the ref so the could continue to beat the **** out of each other. I mean Pep would step on Sadlers foot to open him up for punches. For me that's the greatest rivalry. Nothing better than two guys who hate each other beating the **** out of each other.

Yeah, I gotta go with you there. Recently I really really enjoyed the Evander-Bowe trilogy. There are better individual fights out there but hard to find a trilogy as good as that one.
