Of course he wasn't trying to get hit in the balls. What he did come prepared to do was to make a big deal about low-ish blows early in the fight in preparation for some rests and point deductions that would help him down the stretch and maybe even a DQ win. I absolutely beleive that was part of Judah's game plan.

I point to the silly, delayed and over exagerated reaction to the first low blow (which would of hurt, sure. but didn't hit him in the balls) and being a proffesional boxer shouldn't cause him to go down like he was shot.
Then of course there's the instantaneous recovery. He was absolutely faking.

The 2nd of course was a vicious low blow right in the spuds. And he was rewarded with a point deduction for his attempt at an oscar earler. Even though it was the first actual low blow (which should've only warrented a warning) and completely unintentional on Cotto's part (jadah clipping the top of Cotto's head is what actually caused the punch to go low in the first place) Judah would then go on to complain about two other shots that were clearly on the beltline.

So, getting back to the topic. No he wasn't trying to get low blowed. He was trying to get points when he wasn't being low blowed.

The following low blow is the one caused in the 3rd round.

I know that in this video I said this was the first low blow and in all honesty it is. It's the low blow to Zab's cup area.

Great Job with editing the Video Alien.

However, I'm not one of those conspiratorial kinda guys. I dont think Judah was intentionally trying to get hit low.

The video does however illustrate what Cotto said in the post fight interview with Larry Merchant.
