    Miguel Cotto

Do you guys think Miguel Cotto will unify the Welterweight division?

Only man who'd beat him IMO is Mosley. He would sweep the floor with Margarito.

Mosley would give him trouble. We still need to see the Margarito Williams fight because one of these guys could really impress.

Cotto is a knockout waiting to happen unfortunately. Once he steps it up against the big dogs at welter his hype train will be derailed violently.

I think Clottey is another VERY live underdog too. I would still favor Cotto but Clottey is dangerous.

The exciting thing about Cotto and the WW division in general is that all the other top WW's have a good chance of beating him and of beating each other.

I'd have to agree with that. Clottey got me hyped from the way he looked against Corrales. I don't know how he'd do against another good welter after the Margarito fight.

I was more impressed with him in the Margarito fight than the Corrales fight. He looked sharp in that fight tripling up with his left hooks and looking strong on the inside against Margarito.

Margarito is not the fastest WW but he does hit hard and Clottey seemed to take his punches well. I would love to see Clottey with ANY current WW. Actually I would love to see any top 10 WW against any other top 10 WW. FOTY candidates all of them.

He as a good chance of doing it, yes.

Nothing is certian except death and taxes.

No one can make such claims and nothing is written in stone.

I personaly would like to see him try though.

I'll remember you said that. In fact I have you locked on my radar. If you're so sure..how about a "ban for life" from this forum, bet? Name your so called "big dogs". I will be looking for you when they match up, all right brother. Now if Cotto keeps rocking ready...You are outta here, BET?? should Cotto be KO'd as you so put it...I will leave forever, bet?

                  don't punk out now.

and against corrales, (god may rest his soul), clottey looked great,
it would be interesting if he fights mosley next sine mayweather does not want to fight an sparring partner and cotto is now waiting for winner of williams/marg.
