I don't hate him, but I have no respect for a man who would risk others' lives just to make a quick buck.

In his comeback boxing bout he went to a state that does not do blood tests. Hell, Texas denied him a license to fight.

I have been a Morrison fan for a good 18 years since his early ESPN days pre Rocky 5. I hate to agree with the guy who said he was a jerk in school, but I have usually only heard negative things about him personally. Keep in mind this is the same guy who pummeled a college student for staring at him in a diner, he is no saint or even a decent person for sure.

Let us not forget John Wayne excluded Tommy comes from a long line of white trash stock. A terrible half Indian mother, a basically absent father and Tim a brother doing time for **** in Arkasas I think. It is not like he was raised to not slurp soup in a decent enviroment. Expecting great character out of him is foolish. Take him for what he is an Athlete, who are not the salt of the earth anyhow.

I don't know if that's true (toughman at 15).....never heard that myself, but I do know that he was into golden glove boxing at around that age. Where did you get your info?

Exactly right in the last statement. I beat a 30 year old novice as a teen as a amateur, thinking I had done something. I went home and my old man brought me back to earth saying "Hell at 16 you should have beaten him much worse". The ****** part is Morrison was an accomplished Amateur with probably tons of experience at the time is not impressive you are so right. People can't figure out they used his breif toughman experience as an excuse to feed him bums early as a pro. Saying he lacked an amateur background and this was false.
