Haye has a point though, If he fights Enzo and wins people would say: Enzo was overrated anyway, Got exposed in the first fight with Hobson, he was'nt #1 when Haye beat him, etc etc. But if he fights Mormeck he gets recognition, because he beat the #1 guy in the division, Mormeck>Enzo, I also think Mormeck and Bell are much tougher fights than Enzo.Comment

Gurov, Fragomeni, Bonin [at HW], not a great resume up to now but still a lot better than Enzo's. Plus Mormeck, Haye's next opponent will be tougher than any part-timer Enzo will ever face.
Frank Warren's a prat, offering Haye a July 21st fight yet knowing he has a shot at Mormeck in September. I bet there was a lot of arse clenching by Warren while that 'offer' was available, but as he knew, Haye didn't want it.Last edited by Randall_Hopkirk; 06-13-2007, 02:32 PM.Comment

Although i would love to have seen these two fight asap, im glad haye is taking this root to become the main man at cruiserweight and then take on enzo in a unification bout. when the time comes, i think haye will have too much slickness and power for enzo to handle, although enzo does carry a KO blow himself..Comment

Haye is definitely doing the right thing and waiting for the fight with Mormeck, instead of going after Enzo. It seems like a typical Frank Warren move by offering him a fight now when he knows that he probably isn't going to take it.Comment
