people bash Paulie.....he displayed TONS of heart against cotto....especially taking on cotto for his FIRST real TEST.....took guts. considering he had broken bones in his face, the kid proved he can hang w/ the top fighters....& considering he had an early injury, he gave cotto a good fight.....

I agree.. if you get past all the flashy hair and Bling.. and loud mouth additude.. What you get a pretty damn good boxer.. who is a LOT tougher than he looks..

I do believe that Cotto can be a dirty fighter if and when he want's to be.

For the most part, any one who loses to him will make excuses.

Cotto has stopped people who have never been stopped.
That hurts their ego and their pride. They have no other way of justifying it.

He has put beatings on people who have never been beat down.

They can't understand nor comprehend how a slow, one dimmensional, fighter with a glass chin can make them look like they were in a car accident after the fight is over.

There is no footage of Cotto ever head butting deliberately in 30 fights. If you have any footage, post it. Accidental head butts do happen, especially against SouthPaws.

It's true, Cotto does force you to fight or get the **** out of the ring.

What really has to be bothering Maligf@ggi is that Cotto broke his hand and yet there was not a god damn thing Maligf@ggi could do about it.

Low blows happen. Now anyone who fights Cotto will always try to get help from the ref from now on and try to say that all the shots that Cotto throws and lands are either low and or kidney shots. This is not true and we know it.
Corely faked many low blows. Torres was a victim of some low blows and this is the blueprint for excuse makers. When people turn and run and get caught with a kidney shot, it's not Cotto's fault that the opponent is the one turning his body. Cotto is not going to stop throwing everytime someone gives him the side or their back. Either stand up and fight or pay for trying to run and using that ****** side roll.

no way....& alot of guys fight (& WIN) w/ a hurt, broken hand.....i don't think his hand was broken, don't remember seeing a cast on it, not sure.....seen paulie w/ a few casts on his hands a few times, so we know he has bad hands....
& he did more than get by....if he didn't get INJURED early, he just might have boxed cotto's ears off
like the announcers said, the swelling & blood made it look worse than it was, everyone agreed he held his own.....INCLUDING COTTO
i also love how the bad hands & weight issues are valid arguements as to why a fighter may not have performed as well, or even lose....but never good enough reason for other fighters

Why do you argue about shiet you know nothing about?

You know shiet about Miguel Cotto so how the **** are you going to know wether his hand was broken.
He was put in a cast right after.
He sufferd a boxers fracture.
