The Mikkel Kessler vs. Joe Calzaghe mega fight is now close to a done deal as reported by both Team Palle and Danish news agency Ritzau. It appears that Team Palle have accepted all of the demands from Sports Network with further details being worked out. One obstacle might be the date: Team Palle wants it in November to celebrate Mogens Palle´s 50 years in boxing while Frank Warren wants it in September.

That's a decent plan Gomez has. Valuev is not a main player anymore but a win over him would pretty much put Gomez in line for a shot at Chagaev, who he's very capable of beating.
