he should be remembered for his contributions to the sport of boxing, not his flaws as a person. he was an example of what a boxer should do in the ring and an example of what not to do outside the ring.

Diego Corrales was an irresponsible idiot. I guess that helped make him entertaining, though it also made him a danger. It's a relief that he died, rather than an innocent motorist/bystander.
