It had an effect and had Hatton hurt but he followed that round with his most sustained and vicious attack of the fight then proceeded to win every round thereafter on every card. It isn't like he came close to a loss because of those shots.

And people keep going on about the Kostya knockdown, it was a low blow just like Hatton's retaliatory shot on Kostya was a low blow.

Hatton was in full retreat after getting hurt to the body. Could Urango have stopped him? We won't know because like RWK's said Urango just sat & admired his work. Had he pressed Hatton more in that round is another story. The punch KT landed wasn't low. It was on the beltline & to me it wasn't lower than the first low blow that Cotto landed on Judah. In fact to me it was higher. Hatton's retaliation blow was just as low as Cotto's second low blow against Judah.

he's only been stopped 1 time by punches and that was against Corrales in their first fight. He's never been on the canvas his entire career and the rest of his stoppage losses were from cuts.
