Yeah Urango ripped some serious body punches to Hatton & had him looking like he had his insides ripped inside out. Urango didn't capitalize on that though & that was his fault. Also KT landed a good body shot again Hatton that dropped him but was counted as low which was straight up BS.

He just admired his work too much and watched Hatton while he was hurt. That fight was very close to being a first TKO loss for Ricky.Yeah Urango ripped some serious body punches to Hatton & had him looking like he had his insides ripped inside out. I think you're exaggerating the effect of those body shots on Hatton, and also when they happened in the fight. They took place in round five, and Hatton came back stronger in the sixth. Hatton then won every round on all three cards despite spoiling the last three with excessive holding.
But I respect your opinion.Comment

I think you're minimizing the damage Urango did to Hatton's body. Even Hatton after the fight admitted he was hurt bad in that round. That's why he said that he'd have to prepare his body for JLC's assault.I think you're exaggerating the effect of those body shots on Hatton, and also when they happened in the fight. Oh and also.
I wasn't using the Urango fight as an out to rip on Hatton. Moreso to simply point out that his stamina in the later rounds isn't what it used to be.
The only way I could say it's a bad example is by stating that Juan Urango is like The Thing from Fantastic Four. ****er is made of solid rock.

This thread was started as a joke to imply that he ****-like tendencies with all his humping he does in the ring... A after looking over a few of the comments left by some it seems we dont have the brightest bunch laid up in here. Hatton is a cool dude but no offense to him his record is like adding 40 low numbers with one huge number and then taking the average, it may look good but its inflated from that ONE number...He has fought mostly journey men and got lucky against a old man in Kosta. And to say his workrate is unmatched is a joke. He fought Urango for like 5 rounds at THAT workrate after that he loaded up on the Viagra and clinged to Urango like it was mating season. He tried 147 realized he's be exposed and retreated back to 140 knowing all the talent was moving up to 140 and know he P4P? This why he isnt respected in The US, they have to earn it here, if beat Castillo and then Harris i would considerable him a legit P4P guy but until then he needs to shut his tea sipping ass and prve instead of saying he'd clean the floor with Mayweather, or Cotto isnt on his level, or he'd fight DLH at 154. This **** is just as bad as the nonsense that comes out of PBF...So my UK people dont get all moist in your tighty whities until your boy proves his stock here until then just bend over and take the insults kindly and bite a towel when were putting it in so we dont have to here your whinesComment

It had an effect and had Hatton hurt but he followed that round with his most sustained and vicious attack of the fight then proceeded to win every round thereafter on every card. It isn't like he came close to a loss because of those shots.
And people keep going on about the Kostya knockdown, it was a low blow just like Hatton's retaliatory shot on Kostya was a low blow.Comment
