The truth is that PBF only made that money b/c of DLH fans...Cotto would sell more PPV against a no name then PBF would against a no name so he needs to grow a sack..It would be an interesting fight though with Cotto a LIVE underdog. PBF doesn't have power, Can't brawl, and his chin still hasn't be tested. His speed and skills would be tough for Cotto though. This is the best fight that can be made in Boxing roght now

Everything in the bold is that same **** that has been said when PBF fought Baldomir, Judah and De la Hoya and guess what he is 3-0 in all those fights. His chin as you and many others claim hasn't been tested but a lot of people claim De la Hoya beat PBF so you telling me De la Hoya beat him without hitting him with at least one clean shot to the chin? The same question for all the talk about PBF first fight with Castillo. Why can't some of yall face the fact that he has taken a good shot to the chin and it hasn't had the effect the majority of yall thought it would. I am a fan of PBF and to be honest Cotto would sell more PPV fighting a no name than PBF would but that is misleading in a way. 99.9% of the people buying that Cotto fight would be Puerto Rican. They buying that **** out of country and hispanic love and pride. Black people don't support other black people like that. Puerto Rican people who don't even like Cotto would probably buy that fight just to support him not giving damn whether Cotto won or lost. Just like the De la Hoya PBF fight you hear so many mexicans claim De la Hoya is a ***** and sell out to mexicans but even those who say that **** supported him against PBF. Fan support doesn't make you the better boxer. -

SO that is even more of a reason why he is going to be a *****...He thinks he owed DLH type money when or if he continues to fight...There is not a chance in hell he'll make that against anyone in boxing right now. They needed the 24/7 show to get that fight selling. All of DLH's other fights never needed that...he needs to check his head and start fighting cuase Him and DLH will not do the same numbers ever again if they fight each other. and JUDAH put him down so his chin is possibly suspect. I personally think he is afraid of losing and thats why he claims to be retired. but his ******** will catch up to him and he'll be back soon enough but probably against a paper champ in some new division so he can make more of a claim that he is the GOAT...This fight is needed to save boxing.Comment

Floyd Mayweathers fights a boring defensive style that wins him fights but not fans. Amazing, look at floyd dodging those punches because he has a suspect chin. I love how he starts to fight off the ropes when he's in trouble, he basically uses the ropes to keep himself up.Comment

This is the dumbest thing Ive ever heard. Floyd has fought a ton of big punchers and has only been stunned once in his whole career and that was from a blind punch by Chop Chop. Even in that instance, he acted like a true champ. He wasnt a punk like Cotto and others who result to low blows and he wasnt even like the other guys who hold to save themselves. He just kept his D tight and arguably even came back and won that same round. He has been hit on the chin by huge punchers and never flinch.
How can you say that Floyd uses the ropes to keep himself up? When have you seen Floyd hurt on the ropes? Floyd doesnt care about ropes. Most of the time he goes there on his own to let guys hit him so he can block them and then respond once they are worn downComment

everyone here has made very good points. Should a match between Cotto and Mayweather be in the works, and preliminaries get inked, a few factors will definate delay this fight...
1) PBF will want it at MGM Grand in Vegas
2) He'll pull a De La Hoya and want 70% of the revenues
3) Team Mayweather will steer away from a June date
4) Will tell Bob Arum it will be promoted by ****** Rich promotions
5) Team Cotto will not settle for agreement brought to the table
there are certainly many others. IMHO opinion, the Winner should get the Titles, Lions share of the purse, and P4P status! While PBF can defiantely out point Cotto....you all know PBF can't hang with Cotto. He can pot shot all him all nite to a Split Decision, but PBF bess not brawl with Cotto!Comment
